Wedding Hair Styles: Up-Do

Modern Bridal Up-Do
There are many variations of an up do! Recently there has been plenty of texture and a much more modern approach to bridal hair.
When choosing a style there’s plenty of things to think about:
• Your hair type - think about your natural texture, do you have fine or thick hair? Natural curly or poker straight? Your wedding hair stylist will be able to talk to you about your options and what style would be best suited to ensure it lasts from ceremony until the dance floor.
• If you have short or fine hair you could discuss adding a few wefts of hair extensions to bulk out the style.
• Equally if you have long thick hair you may want to think about having it cut to take some of the weight out.
• Hair accessories and veils - think about if you want to add fresh flowers or a crown to your bridal look or if your wearing a veil we will need to discuss placement/if you plan to remove your veil at some point during the day.
• Front Pieces and face framing - one of the main things to think about is how you want it to look from the front. Do you want it all swept back, do you have bangs or a side fringe? At the trial we can get this perfect by testing out the different options.
• If your wearing earrings or n your wedding day then bring them to your trial - it helps to bring things together as you can often get a better idea of how everything works.
• Think about the texture and height of the style - having a photo of your dress or outfit can sometimes help with this. You may want to offset the style of dress with your hair or keep it all coherent.
