A little more about me…

I started my career by qualifying as a Beauty Therapist from Canterbury college in 2011 and from here I went on to work at Nails inc for 4 years where I perfected my manicure and pedicure skills. I loved this job and i will be forever grateful for the opportunity.

Having my own business was a dream for many years whilst working in retail and so after the birth of my daughters in 2016 it was time for Beauty by Hannah! I started off offering mobile manicure services in and around Faversham, this will always be a firm part of my business, I love doing nails, but Makeup was my first passion, I definitely was known for my eyeliner (albeit a tad on the heavy side) in secondary school. In 2018 after doing a course at Kristina Gasperas I added wedding hair and makeup to my services, and it just keeps getting better from there…

I live in Sittingbourne, Kent with my partner Richard, our two girls and our German Shepherd; Frank, I also have a black cat called Lola who has since taken residence in my mums house (long story :D). Long walks with the dog and beach trips are among the few ways I try to find relaxation.

When I’m not working I like to be with my family and I love spending time in my garden. Post pandemic I have found a love for a slower pace of life and prioritising managing that work/life balance. 2023 gave us our first family holiday and now I’m addicted; I’m forever fantasising our next destination, who doesn’t love a holiday!? I really want to be that person who reads and devours books, but for some reason it takes me a while to actually get through them 😂 - all recommendations are greatly received.

Interior programmes, gardeners world or a decent Netflix binge are my go too preferably whilst drinking a good cup of coffee or wine or gin (depending on the time of day) 😂
