The Bridal Nail Edit

hannah hennessy

It can be a tough or fairly easy decision when it comes to bridal nails. Either way I thought I'd rustle up some inspiration for you, of l nails that I have created for brides over the last few years. Enjoy 😌

The Blue bridal nail

Lovely Beckah went for Bohemian Beauty, a sky blue shade, with a layer of Opal Glacier, iridescent shimmer, on top. On the ring finger I added a cuff of rhinestones to add a bit of bling.

The rose Nude Bridal nail

Nude nails are very popular when it comes to bridal nails. Most popular in my collection are Classic Jacquard and Ivory Beige, both by Biosculpture Gel. In this photo we used Ivory Beige but added a tiny bit of pink to it to tie in with the roses. Quite a good match I think 😍 Both the Bride Maid of Honour went for the same colour.

The summer bright Bridal Nail

Elly was a may bank holiday bride and her wedding was beautifully colourful and vintage inspired. At her regular appointments she always chose bright colours to wear so she did nothing but that on her wedding day. I think you should stay true to yourself and not shy away from the true you on your wedding day. They're marrying you for you after all 😜

Elly went for a yellow marbled nail using Biosculpture Gel Brigette, Daffodil and White.

The floral

Ohh yes! SOPHIE. These nails where perfect. Tiny little florals around the edge of the nail. We got the idea from Pinterest and decided together they where the ones. Applied on a clear base, Bohemian Beauty, Pillar Box Red, White and Black gel from Biosculpture. Dreamy. Simple and effective.

Crushed Shells

An elegant alternative to nail art for your wedding day. On a clear base tiny crushed shells where encapsulated which sparkled and caught the light. Worked lovely with the flowers!

The Glitter Bridal Nail

Ooo these where so lovely. Another favourite base colour Rose, which is mostly used for a French manicure. We then applied silver glitter from Magpie Beauty around the cuticle and sidewalls of the nails. You could do this on a few nails or all of them like in the picture if you want to go all out ✨

FRENCH MANICURE

French manicure never fails. Always looks clean, neat and stylish. You can play around with the thickness of the white tip and base nude colour. There's many variations.

The extension

You may feel that you need extensions for your special day. This can be done just ask your nail technician. Here vintage bride Amy went for a super classy nude nail with a dainty floral print on her ring finger.

The gold Foil

Ooh this is always popular. Foil can come in any colour. Here we used Classic Jacquard and Good Foil on top. Elegant bridal nails.

The floral french

Such a cute alternative to a French manicure. Also a nice mid way point for those brides that want nail art but nothing that's too on your face. Rose nude gel as a base with white hand painted floral tips.

The themed wedding

Having a themed wedding? Then why not go all out and have your nails match your wedding! 🤭😜 This was Alice and her Alice in Wonderland theme. We put the time she got married on the clock.

A little slice of glitter

Pictured here Ivory Beige with Shine Like a Disco ball placed around the nail. An easy way to add a bit of sparkle. Both colours from Biosculpture Gel.

I hope that this has given you a bit of inspiration for your wedding nails. Please tag me on Instagram if you recreate them! I'd love to see 🤭😍
