OH MY WORD. What a smashing shoot this was. When Roxy from The Little Wedding Warehouse asked me if i fancied doing some nails for a shoot she was putting together i basically chewed her arm off! I was SO excited! Roxy’s vision was absolute perfection; Celestial. Think Stars, Moons, Marble, Foil ;-) it was a dream come true. You just wait until you see the images which where taken by Sammy (take a look at her work she will blow you away)!
For the nails, i used the INCREDIBLE dresses by Maudika Bridal as inspiration. Using press on nails to save time i created a design i was over the moon about, excuse the pun. I used Bio sculpture Gel, and some celestial stickers that i found on eBay. I hadn’t met the model personally so i did a fair few in different sizes so that they would match neatly and look as natural as possible. I prepped and buffed the nails before applying and sticking with nail glue.
The venue; Kingdom, situated in Penshurst, was breathtaking, the views and not the mention the food was sublime. Its one of those that you feel so giddy about when you get there but then your on such a downer when the day comes to an end. I hadn’t met any of these people and they where all so kind and each incredibly hardworking, fully dedicated and talented in what they do for the wedding industry.
To add the cherry on the cake, this shoot was featured on Festival Brides and with it a beautiful blog outlining all of Roxy’s gorgeous details. I wont keep you any longer, have a look at those pics!
